Nigerian music producer and Mavin Records founder Don Jazzy has partnered with TS Academy to offer scholarships covering up to 100 per cent of tuition fees for young people seeking to acquire technology and digital skills through its 2027 training programme.
The Don Jazzy Tech Scholarship 2027 is designed to make technology education more accessible and help participants develop skills relevant to employment and career opportunities in the digital economy.
The programme covers several fields, including Artificial Intelligence and Automation, Data Analytics, Cybersecurity, Software Development, Digital Marketing, Content Creation, Product Design, Data Science, Virtual Assistance, Project Management, Product Management, DevOps Engineering, Graphics Design, Frontend Development and Backend Development.
According to TS Academy, most of the courses are beginner-friendly, allowing applicants to apply without previous experience in technology.
Successful applicants will receive tuition discounts of up to 100 per cent, depending on the scholarship awarded. Beneficiaries will also receive a discount on the application fee.
Beyond tuition assistance, the programme includes practical training, mentorship, internship opportunities and job placement support intended to help participants build technical competence and improve their employment prospects.
The initiative also provides additional support for selected students, including 50 laptops and internet data assistance for up to 500 beneficiaries. However, access to these resources will depend on applicants’ eligibility, demonstrated needs and the availability of support.
Don Jazzy said the initiative reflects his belief that talented people need opportunities to develop and demonstrate their abilities.
The partnership with TS Academy comes as digital skills continue to gain importance across industries, with businesses increasingly relying on technology, data and digital platforms to improve operations and reach customers.
For young people, acquiring skills in areas such as software development, cybersecurity, data analytics and digital marketing can provide pathways into technology-related careers, entrepreneurship and remote work opportunities.
Interested applicants can visit the official Don Jazzy Tech Scholarship 2027 website to review the available courses and complete the application form. Applicants are required to select their preferred course and provide the requested information.
Those who need a laptop or internet data support can indicate this in their applications, although these additional benefits are not guaranteed for every applicant.
Applicants should note that the scholarship covers up to 100 per cent of tuition fees, but it does not necessarily eliminate all programme costs. Successful candidates will still be required to pay an application fee, for which a discount is available.
Applications for the 2027 intake are open, with limited places available, according to the programme website. Interested candidates are encouraged to review the eligibility requirements and scholarship conditions before applying.
The initiative offers aspiring technology professionals an opportunity to access training, develop practical skills and prepare for careers in an increasingly digital economy.
