Applications Open for iF Social Impact Prize 2026, Offering €100,000 for SDG-Aligned Projects.

Applications are now open for the iF Social Impact Prize 2026, an international funding opportunity designed to support organisations and initiatives creating measurable social and environmental impact.
The prize, organised by iF Design, supports established projects that contribute to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals. Each year, iF Design provides a total funding pool of €100,000 to selected projects that demonstrate strong social relevance, sustainability, practical implementation, and design-driven solutions.
The opportunity is open to companies, non-governmental organisations, foundations, social enterprises, design studios, public-sector organisations, entrepreneurs, and corporate social responsibility initiatives. However, student-only concepts and purely theoretical ideas are not eligible, as projects must already be implemented or actively delivering real-world impact.
Eligible projects must align with at least one of the UN Sustainable Development Goals, including poverty reduction, zero hunger, good health and wellbeing, quality education, gender equality, clean water and sanitation, affordable and clean energy, decent work, reduced inequalities, sustainable cities, responsible consumption, climate action, life below water, and life on land.
Beyond financial support, selected projects will receive international visibility through the iF Design platform, global media exposure, recognition by an international jury, networking opportunities, and an official iF Social Impact Prize winner certificate.
For African NGOs, foundations, CSR initiatives, and social enterprises, the prize presents an opportunity to gain global recognition and funding for community-based solutions addressing urgent development challenges. Organisations working in education, healthcare, climate action, gender equality, digital inclusion, community development, food security, clean energy, and environmental sustainability are encouraged to review the eligibility requirements and apply.
The iF Social Impact Prize is especially relevant at a time when many impact-driven organisations are seeking alternative funding sources and wider visibility for their work. It also highlights the importance of using design, creativity, and practical innovation to solve social problems in ways that can be scaled and sustained.
